I live in a beautiful part of the world – and I appreciate it. I only walk 5 to 10 mins and have some of the best walks in the world (I’m not biased at all!). There really is nothing like a walk to get a new perspective – no matter what the weather is like. A walk can help clear your mind, improve your mood, and boost your energy level all in one go! Walking helps improve oxygen flow to the brain and even walking at a moderate pace increases our heart rate and causes us to breathe deeper. Those deep breaths help more oxygen get into the bloodstream and … forget the medical stuff … it just feels good. Sometimes as you walk its good to stand back – take in the view, breath a little and then take the same familiar path or, maybe a new path. Get perspective. Take some time – stand firm in your boots, step forward and just get going.
